Growing up in lower Manhattan, Jack Henry was surrounded by an emerging culture of
streetwear and new age rap from an early age. After witnessing a DJ at a NY Knicks basketball
game, Jack took an interest in mixing music and was gifted a beginner set of turntables at the age
of 7 years old, fueling his passion. Realizing this was more than a hobby, Jack began attending
Scratch DJ academy on weekdays after-school as the youngest student for for the next few years.
During this time Jack discovered artists like Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Pharrell and Kid Cudi
which helped develop a basis of the music he enjoyed mixing.
Moving to Malibu shortly after, Jack was introduced to electronic music and was instantly
obsessed. While Jack DJed parties on the weekends throughout Malibu and LA, he also attended
raves in the surrounding areas. Discovering new DJs on soundcloud and going to small raves to
see their craft on stage, he saw how the connection of hip hop and electronic production could
bring in an entirely new element. After Graduating high school, Jack was accepted at Loyola
Marymount to focus on audio engineering. While studying, Jack began an internship a under
Grammy award winning engineer. Sitting in on studio sessions of artists such as Skrillex, Diplo,
Wiz Khalifa and Rae Sremmurd, showed him an in depth understanding the back end of making
hit music. With this knowledge, Jack realized his passion was DJing and breaking records live,
over spending his time recording other artists, and decided to fully focus on his craft.
While playing private nightclub afterparties in the hills, Jack was soon noticed by a major
club owner, who gave him an opportunity to become the resident DJ at his nightclub 1OAK.
Gaining exposure playing at the most high-end and exclusive nightclub in Los Angeles, Jack was
able to secure other headlining positions at LA hotspots including Hyde Sunset, Avenue, Doheny
Room, and Highlight room as well as clubs and events in all around NYC, Las Vegas and Miami.
Throughout the years Jack has played alongside the likes of Travis Scott, Migos, YG, Avicii,
Diplo, Alesso, and Lana Del Rey to name a few. Aside from playing Hollywood’s top clubs, Jack
has also played events such as Alessandra Ambrosio’s annual Halloween parties, Dan Bilzerian’s
Ignite parties, Tony Robbins Birthday Benefit, Leonardo Dicaprio’s 2021 Oscar After Party,
Warner Brothers “Space Jam” premiere at Six Flags and countless events during Coachella
weekends over the years. Jack Henry thrives on the challenge of connecting a room of people
wherever he goes and playing undiscovered songs to create a new experience each night he steps
into a room.
